Working principle
The machine is capable of automatically coring products such as cauliflowers,
cabbages, etc., without damaging the core.
The operators disposed on either side of the machine, remove the product
from the infeed belt and place it in the appropriate buckets which are
fixed on the conveyor. The buckets are disposed in 4 rows.
The conveyor advances with alternate movement. The coring operation is
carried out by a motorized knife. The knife penetrates inside the cauliflower
depending on its dimensions. In fact each head is complete with a mechanism
which determines the dimensions of the cauliflower and controls the penetration
of the knife according to the dimensions of the product.
The machine is self-adjusting for product with a diameter between 130
and 240 mm. Upon request, one or two rows of the machine can be equipped
with lower diameters. After the coring operation, a special device removes
the core from the florets and discharges it onto the discharge belt. On
the contrary, the florets fall onto the sorting belt below.

- Galvanized steel frame
- Bar conveyor in stainless steel, on which are positioned 4 rows of cast
aluminium anticorrodal buckets with teflon fingers
- 4 self-adjusting coring heads with knives in special steel
- "Pick-up" device for core elimination
- Cauliflower infeed belt
- Core discharge belt
- Sorting belt positioned under the machine
- Drive of the knives by frequency variator
- Main drive with mechanical motovaryspeed
- Lateral platform for the operators
- Capacity: up to 100 cauliflowers/minute
